ANZAC Day

On this ANZAC Day let us think of the many Indians, those who gave their life protecting the Australia and New Zealand Contingent, fighting in Turkey.  We saw the graves of three Indians who gave their lives at ANZAC Cove.  We told them there that Indians do not bury their dead  and that is why only three graves were there at that place, as they were Muslims.  Who knows how many unknown Indians were there who died.  In Australian records perhaps it is difficult to find the names of the Indians who died.

The sacrifice of the Indians were a real self-less act without any interest in making a name for themselves.  Let the names of the three and the others lives live for ever in the cause of peace, and let us not forget them amongst others.

With best regards,
